It lists names and addresses and was compiled under the auspices of the Italian Consular authorities.

Many business advertisements and articles are included (in Italian), some with photographs.

These are also uploaded onto the website and can be searched, and viewed by scrolling through the book once it is accessed.

The Guida also contains a number of biographies of notable Italians who were living and working in Great Britain at the time of publication.

These have been translated into English and can be viewed here.
